Caroline is Most Wanted Business Thinker 2013

Caroline Sanderson Of Ego Hair Design, Inverness Named business Thinker at Creative Headโ€™s Prestigious Most Wanted Awards

Savvy salon strategies, smart marketing and innovative management skills, not to mention stellar hairย services, have earned Caroline Sanderson, director of Ego Hair Design in Inverness, theย prestigious BUSINESS THINKER accolade at Creative HEAD magazineโ€™s 2013 Most Wantedย awards, which celebrate unrivalled star quality and recognise the very best in UK hairdressing.

At the gripping Grand Final, hosted by TV funnyman and stand-up star Russell Kane at the aweinspiringย Natural History Museum in London on Monday 2 September, Caroline was presented withย her trophy to the cheers of a 600-strong audience including the whoโ€™s who of the hairdressing world,ย beauty industry bigwigs, fashion frontrunners and some of the UKโ€™s leading business minds.

One of 11 Most Wanted categories announced on the night and judged by an esteemed panel ofย experts including make-up artist Jemma Kidd, Joshua Miller, joint managing director at Charlieย Miller, and Michelle Feeney, CEO of PZ Cussons Beauty, BUSINESS THINKER victor Caroline hasย proved her commercial credentials having brought her salon back from the brink and gone on toย mastermind a high-performing team, a booming clientele and even an online training academy.

โ€œCarolineโ€™s positivity is amazing, and she demonstrated exceptional financials. Wow!โ€ Joshua Miller

Most Wanted honours the best of British hair talent, so itโ€™s no surprise that hairdressing VIPs,ย influential beauty press and fashion insiders descended on the famous London landmark to celebrateย this yearโ€™s outstanding roster of winners. Among the guests were beauty journalist and entrepreneurย Anna-Marie Solowji, royally-recognised hairdresser Errol Douglas MBE, session star Samย McKnight โ€“ both also winners on the night โ€“ and Millie Kendall MBE, co-founder of Beauty MART.

From a sumptuous steak and chips dinner served under a giant Diplodocus skeleton, to a spellbindingย presentation from hair superpower ghd and a cocktail-fuelled after-party, Creative HEAD pulled out allย the stops to ensure its gorgeous, gifted guests experienced a taste of the high life in an evening long
to be remembered.

โ€œIt was a spectacular night that paid tribute to a host of hairdressing stars, and placed some excitingย new names in the spotlight. Weโ€™ve never had so many entries to Most Wanted, and theyโ€™ve neverย been of such a high standard. This year the field was world-class, and our winners should be rightfullyย proud of themselves.โ€ Catherine Handcock, publisher of Creative HEAD.

โ€œI am totally and utterly overwhelmed to have won Business Thinker โ€“ I canโ€™t believe it! I thinkย Inverness could be the furthest a Most Wanted award has travelled, so Iโ€™m really proud. Itโ€™s anย incredible event and gorgeous venue โ€“ what a night!โ€ Caroline Sanderson, Ego Hair Design.
