Caroline explains:
When I was young there was a belief you had to leave Inverness to go and make something of yourself and get the best training in hairdressing or other fields.
I remember as a younger stylist clients would say how they travelled to Glasgow or London to get their hair coloured or cut but they visited for a blow dry to the local salon
I always thought this was so wrong but understood there was a belief system for some that salons in the highlands were not as good as the big cities so they wanted the best so would travel elsewhere
My early mission with ego was to build a salon that the local community could be proud of and rely on to always offer top services within hairdressing and offer the best training and development right here in our home community
The salon has developed and created several award winners including 6 British hairdressing award winners and nominees as well as winning the prestigious British art team , the first and only Scottish salon to have ever held this British title.
Itβs now time to grow and develop the next generation of new talented stylists as well as senior expansion within our team as follows
